At Matthew Greetings, our mission is to create cards that will help others express themselves without saying a word through art and written words of expression. We are committed to designing products that convey a feeling of pride, joy, love, sincerity, and encouragement. From holiday cards for friends and family to sending a lovely thank you note, our goal is to continue to create the very best.

About Matthew Greetings

Matthew Greetings is a newly formed company in Columbus, Ohio that began its operations in March of 2008. The idea to start a greeting card company originated from the owner’s passion for writing and wanting to place words and art together to create a single work of art. Through hard work and dedication, a few scribbled ideas grew into a small group of artists and writers who were just as passionate about their craft.

Starting from nothing was extremely tough and a small investment from the owner birthed a sea of opportunity to learn and create beyond her wildest dreams. Although Matthew Greetings is new to the industry, we look forward to satisfying current customers and meeting new customers each day.

Origin of Matthew Greetings and Logo:

The name Matthew and the logo “the swirly sun” was inspired by the owners own religious background.

The Tagline: “A Painting with Words”:

The owner believes that both art design and words truly defines the overall meaning of our cards and attributes to its quality.

The Images of Color Line (formerly the Afrocentric card line):

The Images of Color line was designed to celebrate the beauty and heritage of African-Americans through poetry and art design.

When someone asks me who we are, I tell them that we are a group of talented individuals who can bring a single sheet of paper to life with the stroke of a pen and brush or adding craftsmanship to a single card. One of the best aspects about creating a card line is seeing the idea become a finished product from its many stages of development. The work involved is a long process that begins from conceptualization, to a possible photo shoot (if necessary), to sketch or handcrafted draft, and then to final design – not to mention any feedback that require updates in between each stage of designing the product. And it’s nice to know that you have a team that can get the job done!

It is my belief that if you have passion for what you do, others will notice. In order to be a part of our team you must:
